The Girl Behind The Canvas

My AW16 collection is inspired by the unfortunate events that happened during the Syrian civil war. My designs represent deep sorrow and pain for my beloved war torn country. By collaborating with a young Syrian Artist by the name of Noor Bahjat,

my aim was to turn her paintings into wearable art, moreover our intention is to spread hope creativity and bring back life into the soul of Damascus. The combination between the sad prints and light colors is meant to symbolize the silver lining within all the corruption.
