Reunion

This story started when I listened to ‘Not yet’ by Bugsy The Puppeteer. It summarizes my universe perfectly, clashing the Arabic Oud with modern Hip-hop beats, effortless and with an obvious perfect union. It was the first time that I was experiencing such new art fusion. From this music I developed a wardrobe that would blend with both cultures seamlessly, East and West.

From the fabric choice to the shapes, it’s merging in all ways. I also developed a concept of transformable garments: one product can be worn in different forms. I aim this collection at my generation, young Arab millennials who are eager to embrace all cultures but still proud of their roots. At the end, What Is East? What Is West?
