Time is a versatile concept that is at the heart of human life. as far back as I can remember in my childhood, time has always fascinated me. I used to get carried away with my thoughts in time travel to different places and different times. And if you had the possibility to travel in time, what would be your destination and which period? What if an eastern young man and lady from the 80’s dreams to jumps straight to the Renaissance era on western country. -
Knowing that fashion is not an island, it’s a response. So my collection is about making a closet that is provocative clash of both eras for my adventurer travelers. This collection blends the historical influence of the Renaissance era and the extravagance and boldness of the 80’s.
New silhouettes merges by a combination of:- an unexpected fabrics like brocade, taffeta jacquard, cotton, wool with denim, lycra, jersey; playful and slightly perverse energy like leather with check fabric ;
- athletic aesthetic inspired by bodysuits, leg warmers and technical field jacket from the renaissance men closet: the doublet;
- playing with tailoring in chunky shapes given a twist and movement through slashes details or detachable sleeves; prints, inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci sketches, were spread in most of the garments in different fabrics such lycra, cotton, jersey.
