A Fragment of Time

In Japan, broken objects are mended with gold. When something has suffered damage, it becomes more precious. Inspiration is finding beauty in imperfections, seemingly simple shapes with hidden depth.

The sum of the parts is beyond the obvious, an amalgamation of materials with a deeper story. I am questioning the way fashion is made by connecting considerate materials from around the world, ecologically responsible or artistically reimagined, to create a new beautiful whole.
