  • Including Post COVID-19 strategies & new business models, this Masterclass will take you through the fashion industry professions & career paths to develop your competitive edge with a managerial creative approach in one of the most exclusive sector.

Covid-19 has forced the fashion industry to adapt in a very short time span, like most other industries. This course has been specially designed to address these very current scenarios.

Whether you are looking to start your career in this industry, an entrepreneur looking to start a new brand, or upgrade your skills to scale up your business, or a manager looking for new opportunities or to sharpen your skills, this course aims at providing complete knowledge and overview of this new landscape to candidates who seek to acquire new skills and better prepare their own career paths.

From design to sales, every aspect of the industry is adapting to the new challenges, and opportunities that come with it. The acceleration of social media and online selling platforms now means that traditional retail is undergoing a massive over haul. At the product end too, clients are more informed and seeking “sustainably made brands”. All of these evolutions are leading to creation of new business models, notably the rise of DTC brands (direct-to-client-).

The course assessment is carried through
    • PPT class lectures,
    • International Guest speakers
    • Case studies & exercise
    • Homework assignments.
    • Project thesis

The program is taught by a luxury fashion industry professional based in Paris, from where she runs her global consulting firm dedicated to established and emerging brands. With 2 decades of international experience in the fashion and luxury sectors in Europe, India and the UAE, a large part of her career was spent in Paris working for renowned houses such as Chanel, Givenchy, Bonpoint and Valentino. Her 360 degree approach to brand management comes from her expertise across fields ranging from product development, collection management, buying, merchandising and retail.

After completing the course, the Graduate will gain an in-depth understanding of the fashion industry structure, career options as well as the new business models which have emerged post-covid as the program compares how a traditional and new age direct to client brands are managed and will be fully prepared for careers at the operations and strategic levels in management, marketing, branding, product development, production & retail online & offline.
