A broken girl's diary

She did things different,
Underestimated society and its unspoken rules, 
Born into a time both beautiful and ugly.
This is the story of a girl’s struggle to find her identity,

Fighting her way through the invisible shackles. 
My garments represent this story, inspired by a mental asylum in the Victorian era, with corseted waists and straight jackets, and colours ranging from light to dark.
